Audience agog as Asue Ighodalo visits Osariemen, shows his support as she attempts to break world record

BENIN~ It was a moment of ecstasy for the audience and supporters at the Edo State Library Complex in Benin City, earlier today as the Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for the Edo 2024 Gubernatorial election, Barr. Asue Ighodalo visited Edo born, Osariemen Angel Asein, showing his support, as she  attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the longest reading marathon aloud by an  individual.

In an attempt to clinch this record, the 26-year-old 500 level student of Fisheries and Aquatic Biology at the Lagos State University Osariemen began her 'Read-a-thon, marathon on Monday 26th February, 2024 at the Library Complex of Edo State Secretariat Building, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, where she has currently surpassed the current Guinness World Record holder, Turkey's Rysbai Isakov 125 hours and the unofficial John Obot's 145 hours, as she still wears the energy of taking the marathon to above 200 hours. 

Addressing the audience, Ighodalo reinstated commitment to continuously support activities which sought to promote education in the society, as well as tasked Edo youths to emulate Osariemen's sagacity and dexterity, which depicts the resilient spirit of the Edo people.

In an interview with Mega House Tv, The Special Assistant to Governor Obaseki who doubled as the Team Technical Director, Mr. Jeremiah Onoge, DGN appreciated the former Chairman of Sterling Bank Limited, as he tasked all well meaning Edolite to emulate ' The Man Wey Sabi" as he is popularly called.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator, School Activities for the event, Hon. Goodluck Osama Ogbeide, an Education Consultant and Award Winning Author has said in spite of the 200 hours achieved, Osariemen remains energetic.
