Edo2024: Asue Ighodalo gets resounding support, reception in Ikpoba-Okha

The PDP frontline aspirant for the Edo2024 gubernatorial election, Asue Ighodalo, on Thursday, sealed his aspiration in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, amidst pomp and resounding reception by leaders and the good people of Ikpoba-Okha.

The visit to Ikpoba-Okha was part of the LGA tour of the aspirant, which has seen the governor-hopeful touching different parts of the State canvassing for popular support. 

It was however, a carnival-like scenario in Ikpoba-Okha as the aspirant was given a one-way, incontestible ticket to run, with an unwavering assurance of popular support before, during and after primaries.
The PDP primaries holds February 22, Asue Ighodalo is tipped to clinch the ticket, following the significant followership and popular support he enjoys amongst Party faithfuls and the vast majority of Edo people.

He is considered furthermore, to emerge victorious at the September election considering his robust understanding of contemporary economic challenges of Edo State and his determination, competence and capacity to tackle them head-on. 

"Ikpoba-Okha is blest, and very very favoured; the local government is the most developed in Edo, all the big corporations in Edo are in Ikpoba-Okha; from OSSIOMO to Ethanol, to Chinese and others, in fact, I may have to enlist as an indigene of Ikpoba-Okha considering the great things that resides here", the aspirant noted in his speech.
Ighodalo, who was obviously in joyous mood thanked the leaders and people of Ikpoba-Okha for the support and solidarity they give to the PDP and the state government.

The event which brought together the who-is-who in Ikpoba-Okha politics had the Secretary to Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie, Esq. in attendance.

Papa Jack, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Chief Douglas Usoh, Chief Johnson Atseleghe, Prof. Dennis Agbonlahor, Hon. Henry Okhuarobo, Hon. Nicholas Asonsere, Rev. Martins Evbuomwan, Chief Monosa Osarogiagbon, Comrade Austin Uhunmwagho, Alh. Sahabi Umar, other leaders were also in attendance. 

The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman, Dr. Eric Osayande, his Vice,  Hon. Osamuyi Idehen, Speaker of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Kingsley Balogban, Secretary to Local Government, Barr. Osagie Igbinomwanhia, Councilors, Supervisory Councilors, others were on ground to recieve the aspirant.

Commissioner for Housing, Physical Planning, Urban and Regional Development, Isoken-Omo, former Chairman, EDSOGPADEC, Pst. Kennedy Osifo, Pst. Blessed Ighiwiyisi and other critical stakeholders were present at the visit.

Ikpoba-Okha PDP Chairman, Pst. Paul Osazuwa, Ward Chairmen, other Party Executives across the ten Wards of the LGA were in attendance.

Party leaders, men, women and youths were all in joyous mood as they had interractions with the aspirant who promised to continue to consult critical stakeholders as the Edo gubernatorial election draws near.
